When a neighbor gives you apples.......

Make applesauce!!!!! Well, Whats a mom to do when she arrives at her daughter's and son's house to find that a neighbor has generously given them a large bag of teeny, tiny, tart little apples?It did take most of the morning to peel..... cut...

rinse...

and then to boil the apples down. But boy did the house smell good....

I took a bit out and ran the rest through the food processor. Added this bit back in, and Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!

This is not the only way we had it. It was absolutely delicious, warmed and dolloped on vanilla ice cream.

I had the most relaxing, enjoyable day that day. I watched the hummingbirds come and go, drank coffee and read in the library. And just enjoyed being in their home. Thanks Tooky and Matt for the wonderful time!!!!!! You always make me feel so loved!!!
